Diameter of Access Hole in Lion's Head LHCS102 Trailer Wheel Center Cap

Question:

I am interested in the Lions Head LHCS 102 trailer wheel center cap. The 3.19 in pilot and three and a half inch height match the old center caps that I want to replace. Please tell me the diameter of the hole on the end of the center cap where the plug goes. I use a bearing buddy on my boat trailer and the bearing buddy protrudes through the end of the center cap so I dont need the plug but I do need to make sure the bearing buddy will fit through the hole. Thank you.

With the plug removed, the hole in the end of the Lion's Head # LHCS102 center cap measures 2 inches in diameter as shown in the provided photo. It's possible that your bearing buddy might be compatible, but the opening in the center cap is designed to allow access to the grease zerks of E-Z lube spindles.
