Question:
I have a 2011 jeep Wrangler with an aftermarket bumper and wench. I have pics but dont know how to attach here. I need a base plate that will connect to the jeep, not affect the wench or bumper and connect to my falcon all terrain non binding bar. can you help? (Additional Information: "i don't know the brand and it was mostly for "looks" at the time. I thought looking at it and how it attached it would be ok but I've been watching and it is definitely not! I want to install a base plate directly to the frame and just avoid the bumper. The system I bought from you had a separate part that I got to let me hook to the bumper. It was an add on to the falcon tow bar and that (see the pic of the tow bar) hooked up to the bumper with the inserts inside to make the size match.") Do you have a new bumper recommendation that I can use with the tow system I have now that will for sure tow safely? I could just replace the bumper and keep the tow system but I want to make sure that I have a bumper that's rated to tow safely.

As I guess you are seeing, the tow bar has to attach to a basic (frame attached) base plate kit, or to a new bumper (frame attached) which has tow hook ears that the tow bar can connnect to. Since you have told me that the current aftermarket bumper (pictured) tow hook ears are not durable enough for the tow bar we MAY have to select an appropriate bumper.
To Use your Roadmaster # RM-522 Falcon All Terrain tow bar you will need the Roadmaster # 1430-3 base plate kit. This kit is reported to work around many different aftermarket bumpers. I suggest that you order these first and try to install them while leaving your current bumper in place.
If by chance you can't find the original connection collars that came with the Falcon you can order the Roadmaster # RM-9200-6 collars.
