How do you know where the support studs are in the wall on our pod 178 to install the mounting brackets for a Thule Awning

To install the Thule HideAway Awning # TH490011 to your Forest River R-POD 178 you are correct that you will need to mount the brackets to a support stud.
The locations of the support studs can be provided by the manufacturer of your R-POD, and you will want to be careful to avoid any electrical or gas lines when drilling the holes for the brackets.
