Will 331-TPSI-001 Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Fit In Hole Where Lighter Fits

Question:

I was wondering if I could take out the cigarette lighter on my 05 Ram 2500 and put the Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc tow-pro in its place?

Oddly enough I wasn't able to find the diameter of the hole for a cigarette lighter, but I can tell you the hole diameter. The instructions for the Redarc # 331-TPSI-001 Universal Mounting Panel include a drilling template which shows the mounting hole as being 1 inch in diameter.

So, if the hole for your cigarette lighter is 1 inch in diameter, you'll be good to go. I've linked those instructions for you.
