Recommended Replacement Jack for AL-Ko MD285 Trailer Jack

Question:

Do you have a wheel jack I can replace AL-KO MD285 with. Its a straight outter tube 1.9inch diameter roughly 24inch high plus 9inch extract with nothing welded to it. Trailer dry weight is 1700lbs. Thanks

I may have a solution for you, but we don't have anything that matches your AL-Ko MD285 jack. You could likely make the Dutton Lainson # DL22530 jack you were looking at work, and you'd just need to add the caster # DL22414. This Dutton Lainson jack is designed for trailers with tongue weights of up to 1000-lbs, so it would be able to handle your 1700-lbs trailer easily and provides 15" of lift.

The other option that might work is the Bulldog Heavy-Duty, Rack-and-Gear Jack with Steel Wheel - A-Frame - 16" Lift - 1,200 lbs # BD165411 which comes with a steel caster wheel included and provides 16" of lift.
