Suspension Enhancement for a Motor Home Built on a 2011 Ford F-53 Chassis

Updated 12/03/2012 | Published 11/28/2012

Question:

I have a 2011 motorhome on a F53, the passenger side is about 1/12 to 2 inch lower then the drivers side. And the rear is about 3/4 of a inch. What product do you have that will help this, and improve the ride? Thank you for any help you can give me.

It sounds like you may want to first have the suspension components inspected because any enhancement product will need to be installed on a vehicle with good working suspension.

For the front, I recommend going with a Firestone air bag system, # F2070, Having air bags will allow you to level the vehicle as needed.

For the rear, the air bag kit is # F2170. This will fit as long as the distance from the outside of the frame to the inside of the tire is at least 8 inches.

Using air bag suspension will allow you to get the vehicle just right by adding the right amount of air in each spring.
