As long as you have the additional clearance required by the bigger 5.70 x 8 you should have no problem installing this size tire as a replacement for your 4.8 x 8.

The 5.7 x 8 will be 1 inch taller and .9 inches wider. If you measure your trailer and find that you have enough clearance for the additional height and width you should have no problems.
