Question:

I recently purchased a 2019 Subaru Forester Premium includes a sun roof, and I want to attach my Sears Sport 15-CAV Rooftop Cargo Carrier to it. What mounting hardware do you recommend, and how would I attach it? Thanks!

You were on the right track; the Replacement Hardware Kit for Sears Cargo Boxes # TH05603 is the correct mounting hardware that you'll need to attach your Sears cargo box to the factory bars on a 2019 Subaru Forester. This is a U-bolt kit that will replace any existing hardware you've got and will use the existing mounting holes, or you can drill new mounting holes to match your crossbar spread. If you're going to drill new holes to match your crossbars, you will want to seal up any extra holes using RTV Sealer # LT37467. This is a silicone based sealant that will prevent water and dirt from entering the box.
