Roof Rack for 2018 GMC Acadia to Carry Two Assisted Kayak Carriers

Hi, Just bought a new used vehicle and wondering about using two Thule Hullavators with kayaks, each weighing around 55 lbs. Im thinking that its possible, or close to the 150 roof rack limit, using either: EVO Wingbar OR Probar not sure lengths • Rapid Crossroad Foot Pack • OR Rapid Podium Feet not sure which lift kit # If could use only one Hullavator, looking for easiest option for the second boat...

To fit two Thule Hullavators on the roof of your 2018 GMC Acadia with raised roof rails you'd need a longer crossbar setup which for that you'd want the Malone roof rack part # MPG216 which will give you 58 inch bars. Where it sounds like you'd run into an issue though is with weight capacities. The Hullavator weighs 40 lbs so if you had two that would eat up 80 lbs of your roof weight capacity leaving 70 lbs for your kayaks which you said were 55 lbs.

Another option that would work great is the Yakima Showdown part # Y04081 which is a similar assisted kayak carrier but instead only weighs 20 lbs. So using two of these would allow to be under your roof weight capacity.
