Question:

The dealers parts department told me there is a difference between the hitch receiver for the 2020 Rav4 Hybrid and the Rav4. Is that true? If so, is there a model hitch specifically for the 2020 Rav4 Hybrid?

Expert Reply:

As far as aftermarket hitches go, there is no fit differences between the gasoline and Hybrid RAV4 models. Curt confirms that the # C13416 Class III hitch fits all models of the 2020 Toyota RAV4, including the Hybrid.

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system. For a trailer wiring harness, use # C56434. For a ball mount, use # 40346 and the # PC3 hitch pin. For a trailer ball, use # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
