You recommend on a question and answer the Sterling RM-576 tow bar which states is not compatible with the direct connect base plate for a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Which is correct?

The Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar part # RM-576 can be used with Direct Connect or Crossbar style base plate kits. So for our 2018 Subaru Crosstrek you could use the Direct Connect part # RM-52927-5 and you'd be set.
