Question:
I just received this hitch and I am having trouble finding the weight bearing capacity of the hitch. Can you please give me that information. I know that it will tow 14000 lbs with the 2and5/16 ball but dont know how much tongue wt it will bear. My tongue is about 900 lbs when fully loaded. Weighed at 875. Thanks for your help.

The Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ballmount - 2" & 2-5/16" Balls - 14,000 lbs # C45900 has an overall tongue weight capacity rating of 1,400 lbs. This may be further limited however by your trailer hitch receiver tongue weight capacity, so you will want to make sure that exceeds your 900 lb trailer tongue weight.
The towing capacity is 14,000 lbs as you stated with the 2-5/16 inch ball or 10,000 lbs with the 2 inch ball option.
