Question:
Is there any difference between the regular Curt round bar and Curt MV hitches? I need to upgrade from 600 to 1,000 lb bars, but want to make sure they fit. Not sure which system I have

In order to determine the correct replacement or upgraded spring bar for a Curt Weight Distribution System you need to know if you have the standard like part # C17002 or MV like part # C17052. The head for each is a bit different so you should be able to distinguish which you have by looking at photos of each. If you have the standard then the correct one for a 800-1,000 lb rating is part # C17115. If you have the MV then the correct one for a 800-1,000 lb rating is part # C17073.
