Is there a cutting board that will fit on top of the glass top? It would have to have soft riser pads to get it above the hinges. We of course couldn’t leave it on while cooking or traveling

The Camco RV Universal Fit Stovetop Silencer and Countertop w/ Flexible Cutting Mat - Solid Oak # CAM43521, Bordeaux # CAM43526, or white # CAM43707 are the best options for what you are seeking. I wouldn't recommend putting them on the glass as that hasn't been tested but this will allow you to use the space you are missing and redeem it as counter space.
