How To Install LED Light Strips Inside An Enclosed Trailer

Question:
How do I safely add LED strip lights to the interior of my 6x12 enclosed trailer using a 12v automotive battery? I would also like to add solar power on the trailer roof to keep the battery charged and an on/off switch when walking into the trailer from the side door. Thanks for your help!

The Optronics Flexible LED Light Strip part # UCL90CB would be the best option for adding LED strips to the inside of an enclosed trailer. The strips can be cut to fit you exact needs and they feature a simple two wire design. The wires could then be run to a toggle switch like part # PK34571 which can be mounted outside if the boot part # PK25370 is used and then to the battery wherever that may be.
In regards to adding a solar panel, this would really be dependent on how much power you will be using but the Go Power Eco Solar Charging System part # 34273836 is a good start for the most basic charging.
