I have the brake light relay for the 2017 equinox. Do you have detailed instruction on installation. The ones it comes with ares very specific.

The Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-88400 is not required for a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox so you will be good to go without it. That said, to answer your question, this is a universal component so specific installation instructions will not be provided for any one particular make and model.
