Running board brackets are step model and manufacturer specific. If you let me know what running boards you have, I can see if replacements are available. For example the Replacement Mounting Hardware Kit for Westin PRO TRAXX 4" Nerf Bars - Manufactured After 2017 # 21-2408PK are the correct fit for the # 21-24085 confirmed to fit a 2020 Ram 1500 Crew Cab.

The running boards I have fit wheel well to wheel well that was on my 2016 Ram 1500 crew cab... they are the Ram stainless running boards my 2020 Ram 1500 has the studs that come out for the brackets to go on to so it would have to have the nuts to hold them on... they are 3 prong studs that are wider than the 2016 brackets which they bolted on to the truck... 3 brackets on each side... the running boards I have are 97” long

Since running boards and nerf bars are year/make/model specific and each brand can vary in what parts they use you're really going to need to make sure that the boards from your 2016 are actually designed for your 2020. If you can get me a part number and what brand you have then I can look and see if we have any hardware that will fit for your new pickup.

@JonG I don’t have a part number but the running boards I have came off of my 2016 Ram 1500 crew cab... they will fit the 2020 Ram 1500 crew cab I just need the brackets that fit the 2020, I realize I might have to modify the bolt holes on the boards themselves but I’m fine with that... I just need the 2020 brackets... the running boards are a Dodge Ram stainless running board that I acquired from Dodge when I bought the 2016... the 2016 brackets will not fit the truck... Thank you

@JimmyR If you're going to be modifying everything then what I recommend you do is look through this list of nerf bars/running boards that fit a 2020 Ram 1500 and find one that looks most like your current set. Once you do that go to the "replacement parts" section of that product page and it will show the mounting hardware kit needed for that set of running boards.
