Replacement Maxxair Vent for 2018 Thor Hurricane 31S that Can be Used with Remote

Question:

The fan motor is busted and I was looking for a replacement and found part # MA10-20968 as the replacement motor for MaxxAir MaxxFan RV Roof Vents. I tried removing the screen to get access to the motor so I could get the Part number to double check before I order. The screen cover has 4 tabs that look like they are holding it in place but I cannot find any information how to disengage these tabs. If you can help with this as well as confirm that MA10-20968 is indee the replacement then I can order tonight. On a related note is there a remote control that I can buy to control the fan because I would like to retrofit my setup. Im a shortie so I have to use s step stool to open and turn on and off the fan. I dont mind the step stool to open and close but turning it on and off with a remote would be great. Thanks

I do have an option for you but there isn't an upgrade kit for a MaxxAir Roof Vent Fan like what you have that would allow you to use a wireless remote. Instead, your only option is an actual replacement the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent part # MA00-07000K for white or part # MA00-07500K for black. Since it's time for a new motor you may as well replace the entire assembly with what you'd prefer.
