Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara Behind a Motor Home

My vehicle is a Suzuki Grand Vitara with a V6. Im looking for a tow bar and the adapter to the Suzuki. What do you suggest? Also what is the best way to wire the lights up?

First, only 4WD Grand Vitara models fitted with Full-Time Four Mode 4WD system with transfer switch are flat towable. See your owners manual for confirmation and specific instructions for flat towing.
If you have this model then you will need 5 items to flat tow your 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara: base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking.
For base plates I recommend the Demco # DM9518080. I like the Demcos because there's no removable parts to worry about when you're not towing. They're also quite hidden.
For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Commnander, # DM9511010. It is compatible with the base plates and it comes with safety cables. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a link to a video review.
For lighting there are several options, see link. I recommend the bulb and socket kit # RM-155. It does not require cutting into the vehicle wiring for installation and using this kit you would not have to have a brake light relay when using a supplemental braking system.
Most states now require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest systems to set up and use are portabel systems like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This system applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and reduces wear and tear on both vehicles. You also need a Brake-Lite relay # RM-88400 to keep the Suzuki's lights from overriding the motorhome's.
