Question:

i have 2017 chevy silverado 1500 truck , our 2019 dutchman areolite RV was pre-wired for a voyager back up camera, we could not get camera to sync with monitor at all , i tested the wiring it was good ,12 volts was coming out of proper wire. we even took that camera back to store believing it may be a bad unit,and installed the new one but still the same thing, will this part work for my situation

The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter Cable # FR87PR shouldn't need to be used for your 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2019 Dutchmen Aerolite RV. In all honesty I would just swap out your Voyager system for a Furrion Vision S # FOS05TASF instead.

The Vision S is much more reliable and it has a simple 2-wire slice-in connection for the camera.

If you do end up having issues then I recommend splicing in the PWM Filter # VGR64VR behind the camera to provide a steady current to the camera for proper operation in a more permanent manner.
