Can I use this for a Thule bike rack? Need a extender a little longer than 18in. 19 - 20 inches should work

Yes, the Brophy Hitch Extender # RHSE can be used with your Thule Bike Rack if you keep the weight under 250lbs. You still won't have FULL access to the bed of your truck though. I've used another product that allows me to use my truck however I want, even if there is a bike rack installed. Trust me, you will enjoy this product because it really does offer access unlike any hitch extender you will find.

The Yakima BackSwing # y02483 will bring the mounting point 14" farther away from your hitch. For example, if your bike rack sits about 5-1/2" from the hitch pin hole now, you will have the 19-1/2" gap between your hitch pin hole and your bike rack.

If I had a 2019 GMC Canyon, I would want to have bed access when I'm at the trail so I can put my shoes on and so I would have a place to sit and rest after or midway through the ride, but that's just me.
