Question:
What mirror would you recommend for the X7? I had the Dometic clamp on mirrors but that does not appear to work for these mirrors.

We don't offer custom mirrors like the # CM11401 for your X7, but we offer some universal-type mirrors that would work nicely for you. My go-to recommendation is the K-Source Universal towing mirror, part # KS3990. These mirrors fit most factory mirrors from 4-1/2 to 11-1/2 inches in height, and use ratcheting rubber straps for a tight fit that helps limit vibration. In the almost 600 product reviews we've received from our customers, these mirrors carry a 4.4 out of 5 star rating, which is pretty impressive for a universal fit product.
I've linked to a product demonstration video showing how the mirrors work.
