I have included a link to a video that might help you. The wires are usually located under the dash, left of the steering column. They are held together with a white tag. But like our installer says in the video, the wire bundle can be tucked up way inside and you will need to fish around and possibly use a flash light to locate them.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885. It is one of our best selling brake controllers because it is easy to set up and easy to use. It can also be used with electric or electric over hydraulic braking systems. I have included a link to the installation details for the controller for you.
