I have a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Sportwagen and would like to install a hitch and wiring to tow trailers. What are the recommendations you have particularly for any that are American made. Thank you.

If you're looking for a US manufactured hitch for your 2011 VW Jetta SportWagen TDI, I'd recommend the EcoHitch # 306-X7284. This is the only US manufactured hitch we offer that's a fit for your vehicle. For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the # C59496. I've linked to an installation video for the hitch.

You'll also need a ball mount like # D-28, a hitch pin, # PC3 and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch.
