We have previously confirmed with Thule (who makes the Sears X-Cargo Box) that for your model 28-7271 the correct replacement mounting hardware is the SportRack Replacement Hardware Kit for Explorer and SkyLine XL Roof Mounted Cargo Boxes # SR05587.
