I need to replace the manual awning on my Jayco x17z with an automatic 12v awning but have no idea what product will work. Do I just need the arms and use the existing shade? Thanks!

You should be able to just upgrade the arms and continue to use your current material for the shade but I'll need to know what awning you have on your Jayco Jay Feather X17Z so I can choose the correct replacement from the linked selection.

For example, the Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit, White # LC434724 or Black # LC434723, has 69" arms and is compatible with Dometic, Carefree, and Solera awnings.
