Solera RV Awning Conversion Kit Compatibility With CareFree Awnings

Question:

I purchased the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit Programmable - 63inch Arms kit for my CareFree awning. It came with end caps for a Dometic awning tube, which are too small for the CareFree tube. Is it necessary to change the end caps to use these arms on the CareFree awning or will the existing CareFree awning tube end caps work with it? If they need to be replaced can these be ordered separately? Thanks

The Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit - Programmable - 63" Arms - Black Item # LC759516 come with the endcap replacement that only works with the CareFree models: Spirit, Fiesta, Simplicity, Traveler, and Eclipse. If you don't have one of these models it will not work and would require you to purchase compatible Solera branded awning roller tube and fabric.
