Will this work with a carefree manual awning to convert to electric?

I spoke with my contact at Lippert and she said that their manual to electric conversion kits like the Solera # LC329250 that you were looking at are only compatible with Solera manual systems so unfortunately it won't work with your Carefree setup.
In order to install an electric awning on your trailer you will need a complete hardware kit. For a 69 inch long system you can use the Solera 12V Kit # LC434724 in White or # LC434723 for Black. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.

I have a carefree manual awning. Will this convert it to electric? The spring is broke in mine, is a spring needed?
