Question:

I have a trailstar boat trailer tail light cover SAE APC 04 DOT, so does your A39R8 fit my trailer ? thank you Willy

The SAE number is not normally a reliable way to find replacement lenses, but from previous customers who have had that same number and sent in pictures we were able to determine that the correct replacement lens is the # A39RB for the main lens and # A37RB for the side marker.

I believe I have the identical trailer light covers as described in this link. https://www.etrailer.com/question-446250.html?srsltid=AfmBOorME4JR4rGy9elizQk01HCqcdepJ9UkQtwuHXX0xwBSV3xqq8AR The rear-facing light covers are fine, but the side light covers are both broken and read "SAE APC 04 DOT" in the center. In this link you mention a part number # A37RB for the side marker. However I don't see that part number on your website. Do you have the part or an acceptable substitute? Thank you very much! Dan

@DanN Would the part # A17RB work? That's a pretty similar side lens for a trailer taillight assembly.

@JamesonC Thanks again. I went to Optronics website looking more closely at Bill D's remark above. I think he meant to type A39RB, not A39R8. According to Optronics website it says the A39RB is discontinued and customers are referred to the flatter A36RB which I would presume has the same length and width dimensions but without the inch-plus depth that the A39RB would have had. I might have solved my mystery! Thanks. Dan

@DanN Gotcha glad to help! Is your current taillight a red square for the main rear facing taillight lens? If so thats what the replacement lens part # A36RB is designed to fit.
