Question:

I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and would like to install a 7 way plug. Do you have a wiring harness for this with no factory installed tow package?

In order to install a 7 way plug on your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee you will first need to install a 4 way connector like the Tekonsha T-One 4 way Trailer Connector # 118727, which will install easily by teeing into your vehicle's lights. Once you've installed your 4 way connector, you can then use the # ETBC7 to install your 7 way connector that will allow you to tow a trailer with brakes. The ETBC7 comes with all of the wiring and parts needed to install a working 7 way on your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

If you also need a brake controller, I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885, which is one of our highest rated brake controllers. This controller offers proportional braking for your trailer, meaning that it applies the brakes on the trailer in proportion to the applied brakes on the tow vehicle, which provides a much more responsive towing experience and less wear on the trailer and tow vehicle's brake systems.
