Trailer Wiring for 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee without Tow Package

Question:

I have the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee but it doesn't have the factory towing package. Can you tell me which trailer wiring harness will fit? Thank you.

Yes, for your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee that isn't equipped with the factory tow package, the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727 will work perfectly. This custom harness is going to plug into existing ports behind the tail lights and receive power by running up a hot lead to the Jeep's battery.

Can I get power for T-one Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector118727 from power port in rear of my 2020 grand Cherokee instead of running wire to battery?

I do really recommend that you run the hot lead up to the front of the Jeep and connect directly to the battery. Tapping into any other 12V source on the vehicle could result in unreliable power, even though it's really tempting because of how much more convenient it is.
