Yes, you can use a Blue Ox tow bar with the Roadmaster base plate kit part # RM-523182-5 as long as you use the adapter part # BX88185.

The Roadmaster base plate kit part # RM-523182-5 that you referenced is the correct fit for your 2015 Chevy Colorado with 4WD and no adaptive cruise. To connect the plate to a Blue Ox tow bar the correct adapter is the # BX88185 but you might still let me know what tow bar you have just to be on the safe side. I attached a link to the printed instructions for this adapter as well as a link to an install video for more info on it as well. No other adapters would be needed. If you don't have supplemental braking you'd want the part # BLU37TR which comes with the needed breakaway kit. You'd only need the part number you mentioned if you had they system minus the breakaway. The magnetic tow light kit part # TL21RK will work great as well. And the charge line kit # RM-156-25 will keep the battery topped off.
