Question:
Hi, I have a 2014 Murano with only a hitch installed no wiring for lights. I am considering buying a Bushwacker Plus which has electric brakes. Bushwacker empty weight is 1900 pounds, GW 3000 and the Mo is rated at 3500 towing. The installed hitch is OK. What do you suggest for a wiring kit and electric brake controller. I like the looks of the wireless controller. Thanks

We can get you set up. If the hitch came factory with your Murano it will be rated up to the 3500 lb. tow capactiy of the vehicle so you're good there.
You need a wiring kit and I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118653 paired with part # ETBC7L Which will give you a working 7-way to pluf in the trailer this will allow the lights and the power to get to the plug.
Once installed the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 will fill the bill for your wireless controller. It will operate directly through your smartphone.
A ball mount kit like the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 will round out the items you will need.
I have linked videos on these items for you to check out most importantly the installation of the wiring on your 2014 Murano. Happy Camping!
