The replacement 171255 grease seal for your 1990 EZ Loader trailer is part # 58846 which measures 1.719 inner diameter and 2.565 outer diameter for a 3,500 lb axle. We do not carry a Bearing Buddy grease seal kit that has the correct diameter seal. The Bearing Buddy kit part # BB60010 has a larger diameter seal that will not fit your spindle.

The Spindle Grease Seal Set for L68149 Inner Bearing and 1.810 Bearing Buddy part # BB60010 because the diameter is too large for the spindle that takes a 171255 grease seal that you mentioned. If you have water damage on the spindle you can try to lightly sand any build up off the spindle with a fine grit sand paper. Just be careful not to over sand the area. The replacement individual grease seal is part # 58846. If you need a bearing kit, I recommend Bearing Kit for #84 Spindle part # BK2-100 which has a # L68149 inner bearing with a # L44649 outer bearing with the correct grease seal. This fits a standard #84 spindle, since you have a L68149 inner bearing this is what you need.
