Question:

I purchased a 2020 Acadia WITHOUT a tow package. Does the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector Item # C56326 just plug and play to my vehicle or will I need to get power back there for the brakes?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56326 will just plug into the back of your 2020 GMC Acadia and give you a working 7-way even though you do not have the factory tow package.

There is not going to be any need to run any wires or do anything other than plug the connector in. I have added a link to the installation instructions as well as a link to a video install for you to check out of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56326.

Additionally, I do recommend Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector to increase its durability and lifespan.
