Will Anderson Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch Fit 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty With 5th Wheel Puck System

Im trying to find out which Anderson Ultimate ball hitch works with my 2017 Ford F350 Lariat double cab long bed SRW truck with the OE factory 5th wheel puck system. Preferably, the lightest possible version. I will be towing a 40foot Montana 16,500lb gvwr with about 3k lbs loaded hitch weight. Would appreciate your advice on the options. Thanks!!!!!

There is an Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel hitch that will fit your 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty with the factory OEM puck system, but you will need an adapter because the Andersen is designed to fit standard base rails. So, the parts you need are the following:

- Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter # AM3200
- Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter # RP30156

All you have to do is mount the adapter (which weighs 50 lbs) into the puck system of your 2017 Ford F-350, and then mount the Andersen (which weighs just 40 lbs) into the adapter.

This is going to be the only way to use the Andersen in your F-350 with the puck system, as it is designed to fit standard base rails as opposed to pucks. Still, it is going to be - by far - the lightest option to tow a 5th wheel trailer. The Andersen has a 20,000 lb capacity and 4,500 lb pin weight capacity, which is more than enough for your Montana.
