Question:

Do i really need this to finish the 22 inch HD base rails? says needed but i dont understand the importance of them other than I think supporting the front and rear of the tray plywood or whatever is used between the HD base rails. Is there some integral aspect of the trim kit I am missing? I guess you could technically just mount the plywood directly to the Kwikee Heavy Duty Tray Assembly Kit # LC370793, but without the Trim Kit for Kwikee Heavy Duty Tray Assembly Kit # LC380319 you would lose the supporting part of the tray assembly so the 200 lb weight capacity of the system would be reduced to an unknown number.

The trim kit actually includes includes 2 end pieces, 3 mid-rails, and squaring jig so it's more than just 2 end pieces.
