How Can I Add a 4 and 7 Way Trailer Plug to a 2013 Honda Pilot

Question:

Hello, I want to install the 48474 Endurance™ Multi-Tow 7 Blade and 4 Flat Vehicle Side connector in my 2013 Honda Pilot. I also need the connect to my factory harness as there was no trailer wiring on my vehicle from factory. Or, to put it a better way, I need item #118265 but with the dual connector in item # 48474. I want the 4 flat and the 7 blade both. How do I get there with the least amount or none prefereably splicing?

It's actually more simple than you think, but they don't make a 4/7 way connector for your 2013 Honda Pilot, so you will need to piece it together.

To start, you'll need to use the Tekonsha # 118265 kit for your 2013 Honda Pilot and then just swap the plug out in that kit for the Hopkins plug # HM48470. This will allow you to put a 4 and 7 way combo on your 2013 Honda Pilot and allow you to tow trailers with both plugs.
