Recommended Hitch and 2-Bike Rack for 2014 Mazda CX-5 Touring

Hi, I’d like a good quality 2-bike carrier and hitch for my 2014 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring.

We have just what you're looking for; I recommend using the Curt # C13315 since it will provide about 3/4" better ground clearance than the other Class III hitches available for your 2014 Mazda CX-5. This hitch provides you with an easy, bolt on installation to your frame and because it's a 2" receiver it will give you a much better selection of hitch mounted bike racks.

For a bike rack I recommend the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT # TH92BJ since it is a platform style rack that will allow you to more easily load your bikes compared to a hanging rack. Once it's installed, the Doubletrack offers you the ability to tilt the rack away from your car to access the rear cargo compartment and will fold up easily towards the vehicle for compact storage when it's not in use. This rack also comes with a hitch lock and locks for the bikes to provide you with added security.
