Would it be possible to replace the straight pin for a lock pin in your kit, and just add the difference to the total.

The Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 does not come with a locking hitch pin. That said, if you didn't want any extra parts you can purchase each of the components in the Ball Mount Kit separately which I have listed out for you below.
