How and Where Do the T Slot Rails For Truck Hero Elevate Rack Install

Question:

There seems to be limited info on how these rails install. Do they clamp to the bed rail or do they utilize the stake pockets? Is there an install guide that can be posted online? Truck Hero/Truxedo also appear to not have any information posted on their site about their own product. Id be installing on a 2017 GMC Canyon Long Bed.

This is a great question! I reached out to Truxedo/Truck Hero to confirm this, but there is a clamp that goes inside the bed rails that the T Slot Rails for Truck Hero Elevate Rack System # TH65FR will attach with. Unfortunately there is not an online installation guide available for these, but there are instructions included with these rails that show, in detail, how these clamps are installed. This clamp does not interfere with the compatible tonneau covers listed below because of the design and a thinner seal that is used on the covers when paired with this rail set.

Compatible covers:
BAK: G2, MX4, Revolver X2, and Revolver X4
Extang: Encore and Exceed
Retrax: One XR with T-slot and Pro with T-slot
Truxedo: Lo Pro, Pro X15, Sentry, and Sentry CT

I've attached a picture that shows the clamp that this rail set will use and where it installs on the bed rails.
