The etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch # 76419 will have a ground clearance dimension of around 11-1/2" between the ground and inside top of the receiver when installed on your 2020 Chevy Equinox. Based on the installs we have performed, this particular hitch does offer the best ground clearance for your vehicle so you shouldn't have any issues with scrapping the pavement when going down your driveway or over dips in the road.
The hitch itself features a really nice matte black finish that looks great on your vehicle and it has a towing weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. I have attached the written installation instructions that you can check out as well.
