Difference Between Wesbar 271584-01 Taillight and 271584 Taillight

Question:

Hi, I found the light I need but I dont understand the difference between 271584 and 271584-01. One is more expensive than the other but it is the same light. What is the difference? Thank you

The Wesbar LED Tail Light for Trailers Over 80" Wide - 7 Function part # 271584 and the LED Tail Light for Trailers Over 80" Wide - 7 Function part # 271584-01 are both very similar, they are both passenger 7-function 13 diode tail lights that are the same dimensions however the different is the way they install.

To install the # 271584 light you need a pigtail part # 719063 to wire in the light. The # 271584-01 light has an integrated molded 2-way plug so you would need a connection point for that on your trailer to use this light or cut the plug off and wire it in.

If you don't have a place to plug the tail light in that looks like the connection in the photo, I recommend to use the 271584 light with the pigtail 719063. The driver's side is LED Tail Light for Trailers Over 80" Wide - 8 Function - Submersible part # 271585.
