Troubleshooting Lippert Level Up System Taking Long Time to Work After Pressing Buttons

Question:

Press the up and down buttons simultaneously it takes about twenty to thirty minutes to get it to power on. Does it need replacing or is there an easy fix? Thanks

I reached out to my contact at Lippert regarding the issue you're having with the Level-Up Hydraulic System on your trailer/RV. He said the symptoms you described are likely due to a faulty touch pad, but there is one thing he wants you to check before replacing it.

If you unplug and remove the touch panel there will be a black and green wire behind it. The green wire is for ground and the black wire is for power. Make sure the green wire is securely attached and use a circuit tester on the black wire to ensure it's getting at least 12V of power coming through. If it's getting less than this you will want to check your connections and the charge state of your battery.
