Question:

my problem is I had the old elec steps 3 on my RV Motor home that had the square module ,I just put the new steps on and it has the odd shaped module and its not a plug and play ,they do go in and out but the step switch in the coach does not shut it off now ,even when I shut the coach button off when in storing..please any help would be great ,Thanks the old steps were 164194 control mod 164889. the new one is 3658373 complete step set up with logic control mod.

I reached out to the manufacturer, Lippert, about the problems you were having and they told me the issue is your control module on the Kwikee 25 Series # LC3658373 being the wrong one. They said (rather bluntly):

"You cannot use a Kwikee controller on a Coach step. The correct part number is 301702."

So to remedy this issue what you need is the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301702.
