Difference Between Fan-Tastic FVU1400GRS and FVU1500GR Fan-Tastic Vent Covers

what is the difference between the Dometic 1400 and 1500 covers?

Expert Reply:
The only difference is the roof vent models that each cover fits. The Fan-Tastic # FVU1500GR is meant to bolt right up to Fan-Tastic vents with part numbers beginning with "FA" or "FV". The # FVU1400GRS is meant for model number fans beginning with "DF". Either can be used with a standard sized 14-1/4 by 14-1/4 vent by either screwing it into the side of the vent or by using existing screws.
The Camco # CAM40453 is more of a universal fit item, and wouldn't take advantage of the mounting tabs used by the Fan-Tastic # FVU1500GR or # FVU1400GRS.
