Does Derale Transmission Cooler fit 2017 Chevy Colorado

Question:
I bought a Derale Series 8000 transmission cooler part #13501 recently and finally went to install it today on my 2017 Chevy Colorado, but it doesn't look like it is compatible with the existing OEM cooler. I have the V6 with rear-wheel drive and 8 speed automatic transmission. The connections are at the sides of the radiator, so the Derale quick connect adapters are too long. Looks like Id need some sore of 90 degree adapter that fits into the GM quick connect fitting. Any thoughts?

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13501 will absolutely fit your 2017 Chevy Colorado without any type of 90 degree adapters. The key is just ensuring the correct length of hose; that is a pretty open area so you will have plenty of room for installation. I have added a link to a video showing the installation of a Derale transmission cooler on a 2017 GMC Canyon - which is the same thing as a Colorado - which has the connections on the sides of the radiator so you can take a look at the best way to go about doing the install.
