Does Bed Liner Need to be Modified on 2019 Honda Ridgeline to Fit RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover

Question:

Just installed my retrak cover on my Ridgeline , With the cover closed all the way I can not latch or lock it due to the latch mechanisms rubbing the sides of the bed liner. Is there some way to adjust for this, or do I ave to cut part of the liner away to accommodate the latches. Thanks

If your bed liner on your 2019 Honda Ridgeline is interfering with the operation of your RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT80502 then you will need to modify the bed liner accordingly as is stated in the instructions (see attached).

Since there are a variety of bed liner designs Retrax leaves it up to the end-user to ensure that the cover is compatible with any bed liners.
