The TruXedo Sentry uses 3/4" thick aluminum slats wrapped in a premium, 5-layer polyester and vinyl fabric to create a hard, roll-up cover that stands up to weather and impact. This hybrid-style design gives you the solid protection of a hard cover with the flexibility and sleek look of a soft one. The heavy-duty slats can handle up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight, guarding against hail or falling objects while keeping your cargo secure and dry in extreme temperatures from -40°F to 120°F.

You don’t have to remove the cover to haul bigger gear. Just pull one of the release cables at the tailgate and roll the cover toward the cab. Safety straps keep it secured while you drive, and the compact roll won’t block your rear window. It unlocks from either side with slam latches and rolls up fast, giving you the space you need for tall or bulky items without losing protection when you’re done.

The side rails mount inside the bed rails and sit at a 15-degree angle, so the cover rides just 1/2" above the bed for a flush, clean look. The low profile cuts down on wind drag and noise, which can help improve fuel economy. Because the rails don’t overlap your stake pockets, you can still use tie-down anchors, rail caps, or bed liners without interference.

When you close the tailgate and press down on the corners, the slam latches automatically lock the cover in place. Additional mid-bed latches engage at the same time for extra theft protection, sealing the edges so nobody can pry it open. Rubber seals along the rails block water and dust, keeping your cargo clean and dry even in rough weather.

Installation is simple and tool-free with bolt-on clamps that secure the rails inside the bed. The built-in self-leveling design keeps the rails square so the cover rolls smoothly every time. If you ever need to take it off completely, the quick-release guides let you remove the entire cover in seconds without a wrench or drill.
