Question:

is the B&W worth the extra money or should I go with A25? on a 2019 Ram 3500 with oem prep package I have a 20,100 lb fifth wheel long bed

I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package part # BWRVK3600 over the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package part # C16046 because of it's higher weight capacity, 1" thick jaw and cam action handle.

The Curt A25 and B&W are very comparable in quality and are both great options to tow the fifth wheel however, the B&W is going to provide you with an extra 1,000 lbs of weight capacity if you ever decide to upgrade your fifth wheel to a larger model. The Curt actually has a weight capacity of 24,000 lbs compared to the 25,000 lb capacity of the B&W.

The jaws of the Curt A25 are interlocking for 360 degree jaw-to-king pin contact however the B&W hitch has a 1" thick jaw which creates a superior tighter connection with the king pin to avoid the annoying rattling noise you may experience with a looser king pin connection.

Finally the cam action handle of the B&W allows you to release the king pin even on unlevel terrain. Most fifth wheel brands require the setup to be completely level to unhook the fifth wheel trailer because of tensions that builds up and does not allow the jaws to open. Also the B&W is made right here in the USA.
